Nanu's Wild Dino Commute Plan

Alright folks, gather 'round, because Nanu, my resident 6-year-old philosopher and future paleontologist, had quite the brainstorm session today. It all started innocently enough, with a dinosaur documentary playing on TV. You know the drill, right? Big prehistoric beasts, dramatic music, the whole nine yards.

Dino-Mania Strikes!

From the moment the first T-Rex roared on screen, Nanu was absolutely glued. And then, the questions began. Oh, did they begin! For what felt like two glorious hours, I was fielding queries that would challenge a seasoned paleontology professor.

He wanted to know everything:

  • "Dad, why did all the dinosaurs disappear?" (A classic!)
  • "Can scientists bring them back, like in the movie?" (Uh oh, Jurassic Park flashbacks for Dad.)
  • "If they come back, can we keep one as a pet? A friendly one?" (My heart rate immediately went up.)

The Ultimate School Commute

I patiently tried to explain extinction and DNA, but Nanu's mind was already light-years ahead, deep in a world where dinosaurs roamed free. And then, out of nowhere, he dropped the absolute best quote of the day.

You guys, I nearly choked on my imaginary coffee. This is pure Nanu genius:

🗣️ Nanu said: "Dad, if dinosaurs come back, I will ride on a T-Rex and go to school!"

I paused, waiting for the punchline, but he was completely serious. Utterly, resolutely serious.

Bully-Proof Back to School

"Why a T-Rex, buddy?" I asked, trying to keep a straight face.

His logic was flawless, honestly. He explained that if he arrived at school on a massive, roaring T-Rex, no one, and I mean no one, would ever dare bully him. Can't exactly argue with that kind of strategic thinking from a six-year-old, can you? A T-Rex would make for an intimidating bodyguard.

He even grabbed his crayons and drew a masterpiece – himself, tiny but triumphant, perched on top of a very grumpy-looking T-Rex, complete with his little school backpack. It was epic.

My kid, everyone. Already planning his dinosaur-powered, bully-proof future. And honestly, a part of me hopes he gets to do it!

📝 Dad's Note: This kid's imagination is something else 😂 He was dead serious about riding a T-Rex. I didn't have the heart to tell him T-Rex might eat him first.

From Dad
